Heavy Development has moved to an all new web server. The HD web server is now at a facility that specializes in Mac OS X servers. It is housed in Las Vegas at Switch Communications, which is one of the most advanced data centers in the world. This facility is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by a group of dedicated network engineers. These individuals monitor the condition of the networks, the cooling, physical plant, and even the local weather and news; watching for events which could disrupt service.

Additionally, the server equipment has been significantly upgraded with a faster dual core CPU, 8 GBs of RAM, and a Solid State Drive that is not only less susceptible to brake down but also has three times the data throughput of traditional hard drives. The hardware improvements combined with the speed of the data center connectivity, websites hosted with us have seen a significant upgrade in response times.

About Eric Moore

Eric Moore was born and raised in Orange County and knows the region well. Eric attended Fullerton High School and went on to become the Student Body Vice President at Orange Coast College. After graduating from Chico State, Eric became involved in advertising and media sales. He transitioned a web designer and developer with HyperDisk Multimedia in 1999. Eric left for Telluride Colorado in 2000 and then returned in 2005.

In Southern California, Eric became a successful freelancer as well as the Senior Web Developer for the Fortune 500 Company St. John Knits in Irvine. At St. John he spearheaded a project to redesign and redevelop the company's intranet. Over a year's time the application Eric designed and programmed was an iGoogle like personalized portal. Additionally, he reorganized the company's internal web IT infrastructure.
